I think Korean used to stick to be one blood, Those who are conservative don't like to get married with foreigner. But It's getting changed and some people consider international marriage. They are more lenient about international marriage than the older generation. I think It's possible to make bi-culture family in U.S. Because they occupy huge land and there are already many tribe in U.S. therefore they can accept other race and new tribe and indian.
On the other hand, Here in korea over 99% are korean , they cherish their culture and I think Accepting new culture is little dangerous. There are many chance we suffer from culture invasion. Therefore korean have to get their culture maintained and After getting married, they live in korea. they have to obey their culture and regulations.
In Norway, Norway is one of the peaceful country. however crazy man killed over 90people in Norway. Because of culture repulsion. Many Islam people used to build Islam palace in Norway. But he has culture repulsion. and He commit the crime. that was tragic story.
All of countries have traditional culture. and we should respect theirs.
I think There are variety of culture all over the world. that is good for diversity.
For this reason, Although I'm for international marriage, I'm against Bi-culture family. If you settle in Rome, you should obey Rome's regulations.
yea well it is no surprise that we're somewhat worried about our own culture which has a characteristic of one nation culture, not like countries like U.S. so, many people feel like once it is not one culture, it is no more korean culture. I don't know what's the answer for that. I mean.. could there be an answer.

답글삭제Well that's not really the case. Mostly, the Korean men who get who get married though brokers are so pathetic that no women in Korea wants to marry them. And someone mentioned whether they really love each other or not. From a previous presentation I heard that some match-making companies classify people by the amount of money that they make, and their appearance. I wonder if those people really love each other because it seems rather like a forced-match.
답글삭제In some cases. especially when it involves a foreign man and a korean woman, there are couple who get married because they really love each other, and not through marriage brokers(like most low-income korean men do) .
I think so. We should think carefully about getting married with foreigner. I don't think most of couples get married due to love. Because most of Men who get married with foreigner and who are farmer or fisherman live in region. They are introduced by international marriage broker because there aren't women who get married with men. So, government encourages the men to get married with foreiner who is most of Southeast Asian. I wonder if people who get international marriage really love each other.
